Baked Pork Chops on Rice
Ingredients
2 pork chops 1-inch thick or less
1 cup rice
1 can beef consommé
⅓ cup onion coarsely chopped
⅓ teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Salt and pepper the pork chops.
Sear the chops in a hot pan in just enough vegetable oil to keep them from sticking.
Place the remaining ingredients in a baking dish, and top with the pork chops.
Cover and cook in oven for 1 hour.
