Dixie Pie

Ingredients

2 large eggs

½ cup flour

½ cup unsalted butter

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup pecan halves

1 tablespoon bourbon whiskey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 9-inch pie shell, unbaked

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt chocolate and coat the bottom of the pie shell.

Beat eggs until light and lemon colored.

Gradually beat in sugar.

Fold in flour and butter; stir in chocolate chips, nuts, and flavorings.

Pour into pie shell.

Bake 40 to 50 minutes.
